Refund Policy

We understand that circumstances change. This policy explains when and how refunds are processed for donations made to Dakash Animal Welfare Foundation.

One-Time Donations

You may request a refund within 7 days of your donation if the funds have not yet been allocated to campaign expenditure. After 7 days, or once funds have been utilised, refunds are at the sole discretion of DAWF management. To request a refund, email hello@dakash.org with your donation receipt number and reason.

Monthly Subscriptions - Refund

Individual subscription charges (recurring monthly) are generally non-refundable once the funds have been committed to monthly care costs. If a charge was made in error (duplicate charge, technical failure), please contact us within 48 hours and we will process a full refund.

Processing Time

Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method within 5–7 business days. The refund may take an additional 3–5 days to appear in your statement depending on your bank.

Failed Payments

If a payment fails and is not captured, you will not be charged. If a payment shows as deducted from your account but was not captured by us, it will automatically reverse within 5–7 business days via Razorpay's reconciliation process.

80G Certificates & Refunded Donations

If a donation for which you have received an 80G certificate is subsequently refunded, the corresponding deduction under Section 80G may need to be reversed in your income tax return. DAWF will notify you if such a situation arises.

How to Request

Email hello@dakash.org with subject 'Refund Request - [Receipt Number]'. Include your name, email, donation amount, and reason. We will respond within 2 business days.
