Cancellation Policy

Monthly subscriptions at DAWF are designed to be simple to manage. You are never locked in, and you can cancel at any time - no questions required, though your reason helps us improve.
Cancelling a Monthly Subscription
You can cancel your monthly subscription at any time from your dashboard at dakash.org/dashboard/subscriptions. Click 'Cancel subscription' on the active subscription card and follow the steps. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle - you will not be charged again after that date.
Effective Date
Cancellations are processed immediately. If your billing date is within 48 hours, the cancellation will apply from the next cycle. No partial refunds are issued for the current billing period.
What Happens to Your Account
Your donor account remains active after cancellation. Your donation history, tax certificates, and receipts are still accessible. You can make one-time donations or restart a monthly subscription at any time.
Pausing Instead of Cancelling
If you need a temporary break, you can pause your subscription for 1 month from the dashboard. Your mandate resumes automatically the following month. This option is available once per 12-month period.
Switching Tiers
You can switch between Mitra (₹300), Sevak (₹1,000), and Rakshak (₹3,000) tiers from your dashboard. The new amount will apply from the next billing cycle.
Mandate Revocation via Bank
If you revoke the UPI/card mandate directly through your bank, Razorpay will notify us and we will cancel your subscription record. Please also notify us at hello@dakash.org to ensure your account is updated correctly.
Disputes
If you believe you were charged after a cancellation request, contact us immediately at hello@dakash.org with your subscription ID. We will investigate and process a refund if applicable.
